United Kingdom

A girl was packing her stuff while munching a granola bar. Her music system was playing the song "Bird Set Free" and she was also singing a few lines with that whenever her mouth was getting empty in between her munching.

"Books... Books... Books...." Checked

"Clothes.." Checked

"Documents....." Checked

She reminded herself and lifted her invisible collar to praise herself only.

"So, are you done with your stuff?"

She heard a voice behind her while looking for a few more things to pack.

Her roommate barged in with a few gift bags in her hands and a warm smile.

"Hailey......... Where have you been since this morning." She slapped her best friend's roommate's arm.

"Bingo... I was out to buy your gifts. Come on Iris, you are leaving for your home after such a long time. I should stuff you with so many things."

Hailey couldn't stop herself from throwing herself on her best friend Iris. Even though she would miss Iris after completing high school but seeing Iris glowing after deciding on visiting her parents, she was more than happy.

"Honey, that's why I love you so much." Iris giggled showing her a pouty cute face.

"Huh. More than David?" Hailey asked, raising one of her brows. She knew Iris would lose the game immediately but all she wanted to do was to irritate her cute best friend.

"Bitch....." Iris glared playfully.

"Look. Now the real bitch comes out from the shade of pink cotton candy." Hailey nodded her head making a sorry face.

"You know it, Hailey." Iris blushed just with the mere thought of David. She couldn't hide her pink cheeks anymore

"Well well. What? I don't know anything. Except for that one incident. Like in the dark under the moon..... You ....David....."

Hailey faked remembering the scene while stroking her fingers on her forehead.

"Shut up..... It was just a kiss." Iris threw a pillow on Hailey who somehow managed to dodge it.

"Yeah.... today...Kiss......next day sex.......then babies....."

"Hailey, stop it....." Iris ran towards Hailey when she jumped on her bed to avoid getting beaten up.

But Iris wasn't a girl to let go of things so easily. She tackled her down and very nicely beat the shit out of her with the pillows. For the next few minutes, the room was filled with laughter, smiles, giggle, s and many more.

"So, are you planning to tell your dad about David?"

"Yes. He is everything I have. The only family member." Iris felt a small pang of pain inside her mind. She was hardly five years old when she lost her mother and since then her father was the only family member she had. There was none apart from him until she met Hailey and David. They became her family and two major support systems apart from her father.

She was sent to the UK after her mother's death. Since then only her father has visited her twice or thrice each year. She knew he missed her like anything but he never allowed her to come back to Seattle after her mother passed away. Since then she has completed her study in the UK itself. Hailey's parents treated her well too. They used to call them up on weekends and eventually they grew a nice bond altogether. Time passed and she turned eighteen two months back. Even though her father promised to meet her on her birthday, he didn't show up.

That was the first time that her father didn't keep his word. He always found time to pay her visit to the UK, especially on her birthday. Being a little worried She kept on calling her father's number but no one picked that up. Panic-stricken Hailey started crying thinking something bad had happened with her father.

When she called him up again after some hours, her cell phone was answered by someone else and she was told that her father was in the hospital. At first, she felt like her world crashed down. After her mother's death, the only bloodline she had was her father. No way she could lose him. Listening to her cries the man on the opposite side explained the matter to her. It looked like her father's car got into a small accident and he ended up in a hospital. He was fit and fine with a few scratches and one hairline fracture. The doctor suggested bed rest so he didn't fly to the UK. Her father started apologizing for not meeting but she kept on scolding her for being reckless while driving. The father-daughter duo ended up laughing together over the call. They couldn't just be angry with each other for a longer period.

Knowing that her father won't let her come easily to Seattle, she decided to surprise him by meeting him suddenly.

Her high school ended up giving her a vacation to decide her further studies too. Even Hailey was also telling her to visit her dad for once before settling down in the UK. And that was another reason she wanted to talk about David with her father.

There was always a question going on about her father's decision to send her to the UK. He always tried to keep her away from Seattle and that was something that was eating her peace of mind. Even though she had never questioned her father, this time she decided to know exactly the reason behind it.

The moment her father told her to settle in the UK, her suspicion rose ten folds. Who would want his daughter away from his hometown? She needed a few answers before following her father's decision.

It was not a big deal to get admission to college here but what Iris wanted at that moment was at least some warmth from her father. She misses him like anything since she had lost her mother. With the ongoing distance, she was not ready to increase it further.

David was born in Spain and brought up in the UK. He was the high school football captain. Like all sorts of romantic stories, she had also a long list of admirers and well-wishers She never thought that the high school heartthrob would take interest in her. And that happened. When she thought of her first encounter with David, even after a year she still blushed as usual. With him, everything felt like a dream and they were eagerly waiting to make it real.

Hailey was always skeptical about other boys but when she found David falling head over heels for Iris she couldn't push Iris more into his embrace. Being best friends with Iris she was always interested in choosing the best for Iris.

Iris was thinking all such things when Hailey hit her with the pillow while lying on the bed.

"I am going to miss you." Hailey pouted like a kid.

"Me too. But I seriously wanted to visit my hometown. It has been 13 long years I haven't seen my house or my area."

Iris tried to remember while searching through her childhood memories. They were not fully clouded but yet not clear enough to portray perfectly.

"I miss the woods that were just a few miles away from my house. I miss the chilly weather and hot summer camps." Iris added, closing her eyes to remember something. Those happy moments with her mother.

She was more like a fairy to her. Whenever she used to get hurt by falling or something, her mother used to rub her hands and the pain used to subdue. She used to call it magic but her mother mentioned that as her love that could protect her from any evil forces.

Thinking about her mother a lone tear escaped her eyes. Hailey turned her face and found a few drops on her best friend's flushed cheeks.

"Hey..... Missing your mom?" She knew Iris would only cry when she would miss her dad or mom. Else she was the strongest among them.

"Yeah..." Iris wiped her tears and gave a small nod to Hailey.

"There is a surprise for you," Hailey said, pulling Iris in a bone-crushing hug.

"And what is that?" Iris laughed a little, breaking the hug.

"Dumbo. If I tell you how would the surprise remain?"

Time passed Iris kept her stuff ready before leaving the room. Hailey double-checked everything and shut the door behind them after coming out of their room.

"Let's go.." Hailey grabbed one of Iris's bags and helped her to get downstairs. Iris wasn't aware of the situation downstairs. The moment she came out of her apartment she saw a car standing in front and there were a huge number of balloons floating around the car. A small red carpet was placed just from the gate of her apartment towards the car. Even though it was just a few feet, the preparation looked more like a red carpet ceremony.

"Surprise." Hailey's sudden outburst startled Iris when she turned her face and saw Hailey standing with a party popper.

"Hailey...." Iris couldn't complete her sentences when she heard a similar voice behind her calling out her name.

Slowly she turned her face only to find David kneeling in front of her extending his hand towards her. He was holding a small ring box making it look like a movie clip taken from a romantic movie.

"David..." Iris exclaimed seeing him in such a position. She couldn't help but going forward to hold his hand without thinking anything else.

"Iris... Will you marry me?"

He didn't stutter, he didn't flinch, he didn't even look underconfident rather he made it clear for Iris to believe.

"David...." Iris was taken aback, she couldn't understand what was happening. Everything felt like a dream at that time and she lost her further words.

"Come on Iris. Say it...." Hailey yelled from her back when she got her senses back.

Pulling David on his feet she wrapped her arms around him tightly and spoke with the same intensity.

"Of course I would David." She knew there was no question about that. Of course, she would marry him no matter what.

"Will you be mine forever?" David spoke near her ear, making her shiver with excitement a bit.

"Yours, always." She replied, inhaling the strong cologne of David.

David broke the hug and grabbed her hand gently. Brushing his fingers on her soft skin he pulled her ring finger out to slide the ring he had bought just for her.

"For you...." He whispered while sliding the ring in her finger. Iris looked at the white diamond closely and brought it near her lips to kiss it.

"I..... .. have...." She stopped in the middle as David's surprise was sudden and she had no ring to give him.

"It's ok." Sensing her uneasiness David assured her not to worry. But soon she remembered something. Searching in her backpack she found a small wrist band that was carved with her name in cursive. Her family members knew how to make such bands and she had one also. It had a specialty. They said as long as the band was with her no one would harm her. She slid the band in David's wrist telling him that it would always protect him.

"And what about your protection?" David couldn't help but ask about hearing the story behind the band.

"You are there to protect me, right? David, you are my protector from today." Iris blushed while saying so and David hugged her again. This time Hailey joined her too and they all promised to meet soon.

Iris broke the hug even though she was greedy to stay in David's arms. They had to leave for the airport to catch the flight. Already they were late with all such surprises. She hopped inside the car with David and Hailey when they noticed big grey clouds started covering the sky. The piercing silver lightning slashed open the sky like a ruthless beast. The harsh wind started blowing and the clouds started gulping the daylight wrapping the surroundings with a blanket of darkness.

"What a sudden change in weather. Damn it." Hailey cursed while instructing David to drive faster before the rain started heavily.

"Yeah. What sort of welcome is this for me?" Iris couldn't finish her words when the roar of the thunder made them flinch.

"Damn it... Seems like a wolf is growling." David spoke while putting his car in first gear after igniting the engine.

The bidding adieu was more than painful with tears in everyone's eyes. Iris felt a pang of pain whereas Hailey was crying as if she was leaving for Mars. Even though by saying such words Iris tried to lighten the mood, she knew it was not easy. For the past six years, Hailey was with Iris and they became more like sisters. David had a long sullen face even though the airport kiss was long from Iris's side.

"I would be back soon," Iris whispered before pulling away from him. She knew it was hard to leave the thirteen years old homes that she made in the UK. In those thirteen years, she had never left the UK. But this time she had decided to visit her hometown.

Hailey waved her hand for the last time with David and leaned on his shoulder while looking at Iris's retreating figure.

"I am going to miss her," Hailey mumbled.

"Me too." David agreed and decided to leave the airport only when the flight would take off.

Iris settled herself near the window seat. The sky was still dark as if the clouds were angry for some reason. She knew her journey would be long so she chose to open the book Brida of Paulo Coelho to read.

Almost after 10 long hours, Iris's flight landed in Seattle bringing goosebumps on her skin. She was excited to see her old two-story building and her father taking care of the garden her mother made with her own hands. She was excited to see her old childhood room and her leftover memories. Seattle's weather wasn't good either. She looked through the window and saw it was raining there. Keeping her book in her backpack she grabbed the coat to wrap her around her body. Taking her luggage from the luggage belt the moment she stepped out of the airport a strange cold wind hit her body making her shiver to her bones. Even though Seattle was quite cold during winter and the UK also had its fair share of coldness, she could still feel some strange sensation while standing at the departure.

"Maybe it's been thirteen years and that's why it is looking weird," Iris told her inwardly after taking a long breath before stepping outside. In the meantime, she had already dropped two text messages to David and Hailey's contact numbers who were worried to know her safe and sound arrival in Seattle.

Grabbing her luggage she walked towards the paid cab booking area to get a cab. Dropping the address to the driver she relaxed at the back seat throwing her head on the seat.

Barely for a few minutes, she could close her eyes, as an ongoing uneasiness started engulfing her. She opened her eyes to enjoy the scenic beauty of her childhood hometown. The city wasn't big but it had a separate calmness to allow anyone to leave peacefully.

The road through which her car was moving had dense forest on both sides. Even during the daytime, one could see the darkness inside those forests. She tilted down the glass of the window to let the cool breeze hit her face a little. Seconds passed her eyes involuntarily closed while she was resting her head on the seat. She could see herself walking inside the forest looking for David as he kept on irritating her making her search for him.

She called out David's name to get him faster but the thicker forest made that difficult for her. She ran towards the sound of crushing leaves thinking that David was running from there but found nothing after reaching there.

"David ..." She called while standing in the woods and looking around when her eyes caught a dark shadow a few meters away. It was all black and was more like a rock without a single movement.

"David...." She called again while walking towards the darker shadow but halted at her steps when the shadow moved a little. The dark object seemed coming towards her and she chose to take back steps due to the fear of facing the unknown. Seconds passed when she noticed something more than the shadow. A pair of shiny golden orbs that flashed like a thousand-watt bulb. And the next moment the shadow jumped towards her making her fall on the ground when a painful yelp left her mouth.

She jolted at her place with a screeching sound and found herself sitting at the back seat of the car.

"What a weird dream." She asked herself and saw the cab came to a halt.

"What happened?" Iris asked the driver who was opening the door to go out.

"No sure mam. Maybe some issue with the engine or battery. Let me check."

The driver stepped down from the car and walked in front to open the bonnet. Iris looked around and found a similar sort of woods around beside the road that she had seen in her dreams.

"Crazy subconscious mind." She laughed a little thinking about her mind. People often see such dreams that were imprinted in their subconscious minds.

She was also experiencing such dreams. Brushing her thoughts away she opened the door of the car to come out. The darkness didn't fade, rather it grew more. Inhaling a sharp breath she decided to just walk around the road.

"Mam. Don't go inside the forest." She was just taking some steps here and there where the driver warned her.

"Is it wrong any time?" Iris asked.

"Nothing as such. It is not just our territory." The driver didn't speak much but she couldn't understand the meaning of it. Who would mark a territory? As per her thoughts, only the government can mark. Then?

She chose to avoid the topic in the meantime to enjoy the moment. Her hair blew along with the wind's direction. A rich cologne hit her nostrils as she closed her eyes to enjoy the breeze. But a sudden silence followed by a large growl made her startle. Abruptly turning her head towards the woods she tried to figure out the source of the roar.

"What was that?" Involuntarily those words came out of her mouth when she noticed something passed through the woods at the speed of Cheetah or Jaguar. Her slow possessed footsteps decreased the distance between her and the woods bringing her to the end of the road and at the opening of the forest.

Her eyes tried to spot the black shadow that she saw moving abruptly from one corner to another. Another step and she touched the first large pine tree to lean forward. A weird sensation hit her hard. She could feel some pairs of eyes on or around her but she couldn't see them with naked eyes. The sky above was getting dark. Few drops of rain poured on her head and before the thunder roared for one more time she was taken aback with a sudden feared voice.

"Mam......come back...." She was about to enter the deeper forest when the driver called her back.

"Oh. The engine is fine now?" She asked him and he nodded, opening the door for her. She withdrew her hand from the tree and walked towards the car to get inside. The moment she turned she had felt something move away behind her but she didn't dare to look back. The entire area looked spooky and dark.

"What sort of sound was that?"

Iris broke the silence during the drive and the driver looked stiffened at his position.

"Nothing mam. Some wild animals. They have been here for thousands of years."

"Oh. I see. I have just heard stories during my childhood. It's been thirteen long years since I haven't visited my hometown." She tried to normalize the situation knowing that something was off.

"Thirteen is an unlucky number. But never mind, you are always welcome in your hometown." The driver passed a genuine smile while driving as fast as she could.

After half an hour or so the cab arrived at her doorstep. Paying him the exact fare she took her luggage and placed it in front of the main door.

At first, she thought of calling her father after landing in Seattle but later she decided to surprise him just by appearing at his doorstep.

Iris stood there while looking at the small garden her mother made. It was still the same, just a few new flowers were added. Knocking on the same wooden door she kept herself mum for a second. Nothing had changed much in those thirteen years.

"Come in." The same deep voice of her father was heard as she giggled a little. Her father didn't expect to see her at his doorstep so he replied casually.

Heartbeat ran faster as soon as she heard the sound of unclicking the lock. The door opened and a man in his mid-forties appeared.

"Dad............" She jumped on him immediately without saying a single hello or hi. For a second her father was shocked but somehow managed her daughter's weight to carry in his lap when she jumped. Iris wrapped her hands around his neck and legs around his waist just like a five years old kid. She did the same thing she used to do in her childhood.

Her father Mr. Tyler Lockwood was shocked but later looked at her daughter's sudden act. The luggage was a clear indication of her staying for more than a day. The way she jumped it was clear she came to surprise him only.

"I miss you, dad." She placed a soft kiss on her father's cheek when her father patted her head and finally looked at her face. It was one and half years back when he saw her last. She grew up more like her mother. She has the same icy blue eyes as her mother and golden brown hair like her father.

"Why are you here?" Her father asked her without dropping her on the ground while looking at her face.

She felt an invisible painful slap on her face. As she thought her father would be happy, the sudden question of her made her cry almost.

She climbed down from her father's lap and looked at him for a second before speaking.

"Don't you like that I have come? Didn't you want to meet me?" Tears welled up in her eyes as kept on looking at her father with enormous questions. She had expected him to be happy and excited but what she had received were some coldness and a tense face. He was having creases on his forehead too. Slowly he walked past her and grabbed her luggage from the doorstep to put them inside before closing the door.

She still didn't understand what went wrong as she kept on looking at her father who placed those bags inside and hugged her suddenly rubbing his hands on her back to soothe her.

"Tell me whose father would not be happy seeing her daughter back in his life?"

Her father's whispering painful voice brought a lot more confusing questions for her. She hugged her father back and heard him saying something.

"I miss you princess but this place is not safe for you honey."

"I miss you honey but this place is not safe for you honey."

Iris froze at her place when her father's voice boomed in her ears. Slowly breaking the hug she looked at her father's face and tear-filled eyes. There was fear and a lot more care in them. What she couldn't decipher was the meaning of his father's last words.

Why would her hometown be not safe for her?

"Why dad?" She asked, shocked.

"You won't understand now. But..... Princess..... " He couldn't complete it when a sudden knock on the door interrupted them.

"Did someone see you when you came here?" Her father asked, panic-stricken but Iris couldn't understand what he meant. The airport security had seen her, the cab driver, and a few more people also. She couldn't be invisible to just come straight to her house.

"Dad... What do you mean by someone? There were people....." She couldn't finish her words when the knock was heard again and this time an inpatient voice too. Someone called her father by his name.

"Tyler, Jeremy here."

Tyler walked towards the door letting out a small sigh of relief and opened the door when a man of the same age as her father entered with a small smile.

"Oh my goodness. Did she grow up like this? Tyler, doesn't she look like her mother Olivia only?" The man was more than surprised just having a glance of Iris.

"Hi..." Iris spoke softly out of courtesy.

"Hello, young lady. I am Jeremy Grint. Your father's colleague." Jeremy introduced himself while extending his hand towards her which she took to shake.

"When did you come by the way?"

"Just now," Iris replied with a smile.

"And that's the problem that she has come back to," Hee replied when Iris found Jeremy's expression changed too.

"It's ok Tyler. Didn't she inform you earlier?" Jeremy asked Tyler.

"No." Came a short reply from Tyler's end.

"Fine. We will send her back by tomorrow or the day after tomorrow." Jeremy spoke, making Iris's heart sink in pain. Since she had come, everyone was talking about sending her back. But nobody was telling her the reason.

"Dad, I want to stay with you for a few days. Please don't send me away like that. You are the only family I have. I spent thirteen years alone in the UK. Why are you being cruel?" Iris could feel her tears threatening to come out without sparing her any chance to settle.

She wanted to be in her hometown at least for some time with her father. But all she got was rejection.

"Dear, you need to understand. You can't stay here. I will soon be in the UK. But you need to leave first." Her father came towards her taking her in a tight hug seeing the previous part of his life suffering and crying.

"I love you princess more than anything. I can't lose you. Please hear out for once." Tyler almost broke while making her understand the severity of the situation here.

"Why dad." Iris cried out this time ignoring that a third person was also present there who was looking at the struggle of the father-daughter duo.

"There is something you don't know. A lot of things are there with this town. You are not safe here and I can not protect you here. I sent you back for your safety only. Why didn't you inform me before coming down to Seattle."

Iris became dumbfounded hearing her father's words. How could that be possible? What sort of things were there that she didn't know. From her childhood until her mother died everything was perfect and beautiful. Once she lost her mother, her father sent her away. Now whatever she was hearing she couldn't decipher a single word.

"Why am I not safe here dad? Tell me? Who would harm us?"

"Not everything can't be answered, dear." Her father held a firm voice and for the first time, e she saw his pupils getting darker.

"What's wrong with your eyes, dad?" She snapped at him when he composed himself and told her to move upstairs.

"We will talk about it later. For now, please go to your room." Tyler instructed her daughter and helped her to move her luggage upstairs. Once he confirmed her properly inside her room, he came down to talk about some serious issue with Jeremy.

"Hey Tyler, keep calm. We will find a way." Jeremy sensed the budding pressure increasing inside Tyler. For the first time, he saw Tyler losing control over himself in front of her daughter.

"I can't. You know she is all I have since I lost Olivia. I can't risk her life, Jeremy. She shouldn't have come back here."

Tyler kept on pacing to and fro while clenching and unclenching his fist. He was losing his calm and composure altogether.

"Relax Tyler. Don't make it hard on her. She knew nothing about this world. And letting her know everything might bring danger on her. But keeping her in the dark also won't do good. But what else could we do?" Jeremy placed his both hands on the table while thinking something deep.

"It was all my fault. I should have sent her far away, cutting all ties."

"Do you think you could have stayed away from your only daughter? Do you forget how you used to run secretly thrice in a year to meet her in the UK?" Jeremy gave an assuring smile to his old friend who was losing his mind at that moment.

"I know but what can I do now?" Tyler lost his temper again.

"We can sort it out. Don't let her sneak out of the house until we find a way. I am trying to get her itinerary for the day after tomorrow." Jeremy assured him when Tyler looked at his face with desperation in his eyes.

"She has to leave by the day after tomorrow or by tomorrow if possible."

"Sure," Jeremy replied.

Queen Anne Hill Woods

Two men were walking wearing only some shorts to cover their lower region. Each of those two men had their entire body drenched in sweat while they had a specific smile on their face.

"That prey was easy to hunt down. Find something tougher next time." One of them spoke who had dazzling golden orbs and jet black hair. He was walking in his almost naked glory with an attitude of pride.

"Done. But in the end, you would say it is easy. I know you." The other man spoke who looked a little younger than the previous one and had dark brown orbs and brown hair.

Both were in their mid-twenties with sculptured masculine figures and an aura of dominance. Their eyes held a smoldering gaze and their features had anything but harshness.

Leonard Knight and Alex Knight. The Knight brothers.

"Brother, what about today's hunt?"

"We would be going but there is....." Leonard stopped replying to his younger brother Alex's question when a strange smell hit his nostrils. Without wasting a single moment he ran towards the direction from where the unique smell was coming. It was more like lavender yet it can not be completely taken as that.

"Brother, what's wrong?" Alex growled a little while following his brother's footsteps with equivalent speed. Even though both found it weird to smell such things they couldn't stop themselves from rushing towards the source of it.

"Stop...." Leonard growled, decreasing his pace standing at a distance from where the source was visible. All they could see was a slender figure standing near a tree with long curls. Those rogue strands were flapping her face with the unrestrained wind. She was moving them away with her hand while walking towards the deeper forest. Her footsteps could be heard easily and the smell was getting stronger with each passing second.

Leonard and Alex stood there for a certain time until someone else called her and she decided to move back. Her retreating figure was the only thing they had seen before they moved further.

"Did she see us?" Alex tried to confirm.

"Maybe. She was about to enter the territory." Leonard replied with a small frown on his face.

"Did you feel something strange?"

"Yes. The same I sensed years ago."

Both of them were talking when they heard the roaring of the engine and understood the car had left.

"She is from a new town." Alex was the first person to speak while Leo was busy looking around for something else.

"Seth is coming." Leo sensed his pack's member's movement and replied to Alex.

Within a certain moment, another man of the same height as Alex appeared in front of them wearing nothing but small shorts as usual.

"Seth, what's the news?" Alex was the first one to ask.

Seth looked at Leo who had a more questionable expression on his face.

"Alpha, we found some movements in that Rogue's house. I think they are planning for something big."

Seth had been in this since he was born. With a promise of loyalty, he was serving till then.

The Dark Moon Pack is known for its ferocious and aggressive nature. Every single member of the pack is intolerant to any sort of disloyalty. They are known for the merciless punishment that they give to every single traitor they find.

"We have waited enough just by thinking to settle the matter without a war. Every single rogue will be killed after torturing them and every single person would go through the same pain who has ever helped a rogue."

Leonard's one statement followed by his wolf's growl shook every single corner of the wood violently. The popping vein on his forehead, the bulging nerves made it clear that he won't stop until he finished the traces of rogues.

Alex looked at his brother who was controlling his wolf to come out at that moment to rip apart every single rogue that he would find. Every war needs preparation and being an Alpha his brother Leonard aka Leo knew the best tactics.

"Brother, the Northern Pack had also asked for help. These rogues are increasing in strength and they need us."

The Northern Pack was another strong pack that had a fair share of ruling in some parts of America. Being a friend of Colt who is the Alpha of Northern Pack, Leo was always determined to help them.

"Tell them we are here to help. Every single rogue we would kill or capture, they would be gifted too with their battered body or as a slave."

The fuming rage was something that Alex found scary in his brother. He understood the reason behind his budding anger too. Leo hadn't found his mate till now and there was a curse on their pack. Every third Alpha in their bloodline might die as mateless. Leo's great grandfather managed to have pups without a mate using breeders but later on, she turned out to be his mate when it was found that willing pure blood could be the mate.

But Leo being mateless was still in search of a willing pure blood who could be his mate. The curse was still getting flowed in their pack and none knew the exact way to break the curse.

Declaring the war all three started moving towards the p pack house when Seth heard something through the mind link. He was waiting for the crucial information to inform Alpha Leonard. Even though he knew it would make him more than angry, he couldn't help but share.

"Alpha, the Rogue's daughter has returned."
